I know DRP falls under BCP, but if anyone can take a small example and explain both that will help.

The objective of BCP is to ensure that the organization survives a disaster. It aims to counteract interruptions to business activities from natural or man-made events. The focus of DR, on the other hand, is on recovery of IT after a disaster; ensuring that mission critical systems are available, albeit in a degraded mode; and that the organization can return to normal scale of operations within an acceptable period of time. Business Continuity Management (BCM) is a holistic process that encompasses both BCP and DR.
