Control Chart - The seven consecutive data points are considered out of control ..There is always a chance that the single data point may not be conclusive..I wanted an expert to reevaluate this question and answer

Quiz - question 6 - If a datapoint on a control chart exceeds the upper or control limitis what does it indicate ?

Explanation :- Data POINTS outside the upper or lower control limits must be investigated to understand how they were caused , and either prevent them or understand how not to repeat them...

I am debating as the question was specifically stating single datapoint and the answer explained was for multiple data points. Hence they should correct the question and answer .
