    Hi everyone,
    Can some one help me to solve the error for doing the regression analysis. I am getting the below error once I click Run button.

    "Model is not full rank. Least-squares solutions for the parameters are not unique. Some statistics will be misleading. A reported DF of 0 or B means that the estimate is biased.

    Note:The following parameters have been set to 0, since the variables are a linear combination of other variables as shown."

    My Code is as follow:
    /* Perform the Regression of the dataset */
    proc reg data=copy_retail_analysis alpha=0.05 plots(only)=(diagnostics residuals
    observedbypredicted);
    model 'sales'n='quantity'n 'Discount'n 'Profit'n 'Shipping_Cost'n;
    output out=WORK.Reg_stats p=p_ lcl=lcl_ ucl=ucl_ rstudent = r ;
    run;
    quit;

    Hi Niranjan,

    We apologize for the delay in response, you've overparameterized your model. Basically, if you have a categorical variable you only include one in the model not both otherwise the second will get set to 0.
