12 principles of Agile Manifesto

Hey there,
After my day 1 at ASM workshop, I have been going through the 12 principles of agile and am stuck with 4th principle which says
"Business people and developers must work together daily throughout the project"

I believe that business people are product owner/stakeholder, in that case if the product owner and development team communicate and work together then what would be the role of scrum master?
who plays the role of scrum master? the project lead/team lead?

5th one says "Build projects around motivated individuals. Give them the environment and support they need,
and trust them to get the job done"
are we asking the developers to build the project by themselves in production server ?

I will reply for 5th point.. It is not production server. When We say enviornment and support, it actually means they get all kind of healthy and supportive to work

for 4th principle you are right - Business people are Prouct owners

Agile expert trainer please correct my understanding

Just to add a little more color to the answers provided, an important component of Principle #4 is connecting developers to the business stakeholders and using the User Stories to drive the 3 C's (Card, Conversation, Confirmation). The Product Owner is responsible for managing the Product backlog which includes prioritizing the stories and ensuring they can be sized for a sprint. During the sprint the developers who are working on a card will engage directly with the business users responsible for that requirement.

As Manish pointed out in Principle #5 the term "environment" refers to the tools, processes and support that the team requires to get their work completed.
