Created Three different Roles under one company Name as Endress Huaser.. Role Assign as CEO.
Roles Created for Three Different Countries as VP. Users are assigned for each Roles.
Further for field History tracking, I have selected Candidate as an object. New filed is created as Phone Number. Verified the changes by Page layout.
Kindly advice on the below.
Also, I need to ask about the "Org Wise Default were Set to Private"... where we can see that.

Hi Nishant - I am behind on case study hwk. But here is the Commissions and creating formula for that field.

The use case said commission to be calculated at the user level.
So I created a custom field on the user object called User Commission Rate
Then I created a custom field on the opportunity called Owner Commission
Here is the opportunity showing owner commission
Finally is the user Matt Wilson with the user-specific commission rate of 15% which is higher because he is dating US Sales Director Kathy Cooper. Just like in the real world.

I suppose we could also calculate commission based on whether or not an individual user had a commission rate, and if not use the 5% commission. I haven't tried that yet but seems possible.

Andy Francois Lesson 6 Case Study
The use case says there are fields which United doesn’t want sales people to view in Contacts and Leads, specifically SSN and Bank Account information.
So first created these fields for the Contact object where they didn’t exist, setting permissions to read-only for all but a few selected users. Fields are Text encrypted.

Next created the profile of Salesperson by cloning Standard User profile and restricting access to the fields.
Then restricted the login hours according to the case study.
Then created a user with the SalesPeople profile
Who can view Credit Card and SSN in Contact record as encrypted field with no edit rights.
Rather than creating the SSN and Credit Card fields as encrypted we could have also restricted read access to the fields in the Object Settings.
This case seems very impractical, that a user who would be able to create a record (Contact) could not enter the relevant information (SSN and Credit Card) for that record and then be limited by profile to logon hours without consideration for the region in which the User does their work. Nonetheless this is how to limit access to the fields.
Lesson 7 Case Study
Created additional role Reporting to Global VP Sales called APAC Sales Director to indicate a third territory. Now we have EMEA, US and APAC territories. Also created additional role reporting to APAC Sales Director called APAC Sales Rep.
Assigned sales users to APAC Sales Director and to APAC Sales Rep roles.
Organization wide sharing settings for the Leads were set to (confirmed) private to enable the roll hierarchy to restrict access to the Lead records.

Created workflow rule to send email to contact created from converted lead, and send task notice to lead owner that standard email had been sent.
Created text email template for lead conversion (will work on HTML ... even text was not trained yet and enough fun to figure out)
Converted a lead to test the email received by contact, task notification received by lead owner.

I have a question about this. I think the task for sending the email remains open even though the email has been sent automatically. Would automatically marking this task complete restricted to process builder? What is the task the sales person is to complete when an auto-generated email is sent? Please elaborate on this. Thank you.

Lead Report - Matrix
These reports would be much better if the user could see the filters applied in addition to the summary / details when the report is run. This one is all leads created after March 30. The repeat of the label “record count” down the column is not very elegant.
Patient Report – Matrix with Chart
Used the data import wizard to create a series of patient records for this report. At least the chart give the opportunity to name the parameters, filters, etc.

The Leads this Year report is a Campaigns with Leads Report Type
The Campaign Leads and Contacts report is a Campaign Members Report Type
Both have filters for leads created on or after Jan 1, 2019 and All Leads
The first shows Lead Quality (Rating) and volume by Campaign, the second is just Member Type by Campaign which are Lead and Contact (which I assume to correlate to opportunity ... but maybe I'm wrong here?)
For each of these reports the the total number of leads are the same at 173.
I think a user would need more than lead data to figure out where sales come from, or lead ratings for that matter, that's why I pulled in the Campaign Members. Yes sales do cone from Leads, but specifically Converted Leads, and then Won Opportunities. I will need to spend more time understanding the filters on Report Types and relationships between the objects to get to that level though ...
Curious though when I run a report using Leads Report Type (again filtered for All Leads and Created after Jan 1, 2019) I actually get fewer leads than either of the above reports (85 vs. 173.) Any idea why that might be the case (like filters already applied to these Report Types?)

This first chart does not entirely follow the case study solution, but does give lead conversion by territory (region) which does address the first part of the question.
Second chart shows same but by salesperson. Ideally these 2 would go onto a dashboard, but for ad-hoc answer to question about leads, salesperson effectiveness vs. lead effectiveness by region, these answer the question.

Dear Nishant, I have started for a College Project. So far Created a College App with Student as an Object.
I have created Student Record for 6 nos Students. Attached is the Fields and Relationships. Validation Rules has been created for Marks i.e wherever we are manually inserting the numbers of Marks. ...This is so Far.
Further to this I have to create a non Dominant Field and will convert the same as Master i.e Dominant .. I also want to go for the work flow rules.. Please guide me If I am on right track..
