CCNA - clarification on UDP

    It is explained in CCNA simplilearn training video that UDP is used to resolve DNS.
    The previous explanation says that DNS uses TCP port 53.

    Am bit confused.Can any body help me understand?

    Hi,
    DNS uses UDP or TCP depending on a few criteria which is properly explained in the slides.
    TCP & UDP both use the same port (port 53) for resolving DNS.
