    Happy New Year !

    I have a quick question : what is the return value of Scipy Integration.quad()?
    for example , if we define an integrationFunc : y =x ,
    and calculate the quad : quad(integrationFunc,0,1) ,
    the return value equals to (0.5,5.551115123125783e-15)
    what does the second return value means ?

    Hi Mandy,

    Thanks for the query.

    The general form of the scipy integration function quad is
    scipy.integrate.quad(function,lower limit,upper limit,args=())

    This integration function tries to approximate the integral of the function.
    If you remember the elementary way of integration, it is to divide the intervals between the lower and upper limits into infinitesimally small intervals over the function and then calculate the area under the curve.

    Therefore, there is an absolute error which results from the quad function which is of the magnitude of 10^-15, which is ~0.
    Hence the second argument is the absolute error in the integration.

    Hopefully this resolves the doubt.

    DEC 22 - FEB 02 batch:
    I have downloaded the sessions 3 & 4 but file size is 41 kb or so. there is no video content in that files. Other sessions are fine. Please upload live video recording of the sessions 3 and 4.

    1- Are the weekly classes recorded so we can review them over the week? if so, where?

    2- I logged into Google drive by I don't see Python script that relates to t_test and P_value statistics examples.

    Hi,

    You can log in by using your credentials in our Learning Management System(LMS) which you can go by using this link :

    https://www.simplilearn.com/

    First click on the "My Courses" tab then select you course and click over there.

    Now, you can click on "LIVE CLASSES" and go to your registered classes which you attended and you'll find a download option just below of your registered classes specifically date wise. This is how you can download your class video date wise. To play this you again need to download nbr player which you would get on "LIVE CLASSES" page only on top right side with message "Install this player to view recordings", just click on this to download and install it and then use it to see the recordings because our recorded video is in .arf format which you can play using this nbr player only.

    Please check on the specific date folders you would get it.

    Hi Prateek et team,

    Couple of questions in reguards K-Mean example we did last Sunday 1/27/19 - (k=6)

    1- How can I scatter plot the data with centroids to see how it all fit visually?
    I don't know what to put in X and y axis for the scatter plot.

    2- Is it possible to print the confusion matrix to evaluate the score of the model.

    Hi Prateek,

    I tried the sample optimize.minimize given in tutorial video. I am getting different result than the one given in the video even though I am writing the same code. Can you please explain why I am getting different result? Also please explain what this function optimize.minimize(f,x0=2, method='bfgs') does.
