    ## Assignment 1 ##### entered number is prime or not
    def prime_fun(a):

    else:
    return 'Prime Number'

    Hi,
    I have a question with regards to the optimization using root method:-
    For minimum method i understand that it helps us achieve the minimum error result which means where y-yhat = ~0.
    However i am doubt about root method i mean i m not getting how does it helps to achieve optimized result, not able to connect it with any real life scenario.
    Can you please help me with this.
    for Example if we are producing an linear regression prediction model we have our predicted points post that usage of minimum is clear we will find best fitting line using it but how does root will help in this scenario

    Regards,
    Shriyam

    I am getting error while importing
    from sklearn.linear_model import logistic_regression
    error is:
    ImportError: cannot import name 'logistic_regression' from 'sklearn.linear_model' (C:\Users\User\anaconda3\lib\site-packages\sklearn\linear_model\__init__.py)

    Please reply

    Hello Harish ,

    I am working on the customer complaint dataset from the simplilearn assignment . i am facing some issue with regard to the fillna(). here are my codes in screenshot. the data remained same after running the fillna codes successfully.

    Hi Harish ,

    As discussed with you in the class, can I request you to please help me with these questions? These questions might seem as very basic once but as i do not have a programming background, so the points which is intuitive for others might not be the same for me . Thanks for understanding.

    How to I bring the important col to the front, interchange col position?

    How to view full dataset with say 50 cols

    Could we have used svd in iris dataset or mt cars dataset for selecting features or can it be only used when we have pricing problems like Boston dataset where we had to predict the price of the house based on the features?

    What is the Application of CDF and PDF while using the dataset? Will it be possible to show it on the dataset

    We had a piping operator in R which helped us to perform multiple functions, do we have a similar function in R

    I understood that there are conversions from data frame to list, NumPy ndarray to series, will it be possible to explain in which scenarios it is required?

    We learned 2 methods of calculating the linear regression equation in ML
    gradient descent using the minima
    Optimization. - using the root method
    Can you show us the application while using it in the dataset

    Can you show us Hypothesis testing using chi-square and anova on a dataset? You have explained it but it was more theoretical I guess. Incase if others in the class are also interested.

    Thanks
    Priya

    Hi Harish,
    I reminded you multiple times regarding feature selection topic which was got skipped in the class.
    I messaged you in the QnA session, in today's (06/28) class, but it got ignored by you.
    Could you please provide some resources on this, so I can learn from it?

    Hi Harish,
    The methods to correct the skewness was not covered in the class so far and we just left 1 session.
    Could you please share some useful resources on this, so I can learn from that?

    I have not seen any reply to questions raised by the students. Did not find any guidance file related assignment in google drive. Hope the community and google link shared with us is correct.

    No, I tried different ways of feature engineering and different models. But couldn't get accuracy more than 36%
