Steps to create the minimally viable project for Exin ASM course:
•Create a JIRA account: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/try
•Download the Agile Project description
•Read the project description and create a backlog
oSegregate stories and epics
•Create a project in JIRA
•Enter the backlog (at least the main portal) and enter into JIRA (take a screenshot)
•Create 3 sprints and assign stories to them
•Start one of the sprints and take screenshots of the Scrum board
•Move stories (drag and drop) across the scrum board and take screenshots
•Put the screenshots and some basic information in a Word document
•Submit the document on LMS
Use this file for Agile project backlog creation (main portal only).
I have a question regarding the Weather project, I created the account on Jira, invited email@example.com as a team member, so for the backlog we got on the paper you submitted in this group three backlogs should I use these three or just one to do the epics and the stories, also for the sprint duration, do I choose 5 days for each sprint or two weeks? and then do I have. to log in everyday to move the stories to a progress and then done or I can do it in one day so I can submit it before Saturday?
Thank you for your help
My project was evaluated and approved!!!!
It's really simple and easy if you follow Sandeep's instructions step by step. That's basically what I did.
Thank you Sylvia but did you do the project for the main portal or for Project 1 (big bucks cafe ) and project 2 (levier life insurance)
Sandeep, which chapters from the book by Mike Cohn, "Succeeding With Agile" would you recommend that we focus on for the EXIN Exam?
Hi sandeep! I created a story in the backlog, but it does not display its Epic and I want to delete it without success
Hope you all are safe!!
I am in the middle of a meeting where my client is challenging that the Product owner should be from their side and not from the service provider side.
The main question should always be if the product owner is empowered to represent the product. Practically in most of the real-world cases, the PO would be from the Client side. However, we have also seen that if the person from Supplier organization is so knowledgeable in the business/domain, then he can take up the PO role, provided he gains enough confidence of all the stakeholders.
I hope this helps
Could you please help guide me complete this please
Can i know answer, Which is correct -D

A Scrum Master is teaching Agile estimation techniques using Story Points to a new team. A more experienced member of the team argues that:
Is this true and what is the reason?
A. No, because estimating with Story Points is usually faster than with Ideal Days.
B. No, because Story Points are more robust against changes in the work-environment.
C. Yes, because Ideal Days allow for a buffer and help to maintain the estimate.
D. Yes, because Story Points are only a relative measure and Ideal Days are not.
1. Your company has discovered that it takes more than high quality, low cost, and differentiation to excel. It also takes speed and flexibility. This calls for a different approach: you are aware that the current process is not delivering acceptable results.
What would be the next activity after becoming aware?
A. Ability to succeed with Scrum
B. Desire to adopt Scrum as a way to address current problems
C. Promotion of Scrum through sharing experiences so that we remember and others can see our successes
D. Transfer of the implications of using Scrum throughout the company
2. How can pair programming help with adopting Agile?
A. It helps recognizing who wrote which code
B. It is beneficial to knowledge transfer
C. It makes development faster and cheaper
3. A team’s physical environment can have a big influence on how Agile a team can become. An important benefit of an open space workplace is the ease with which the layout of the area can be changed.
Why does this comply with the Agile principles?
A. It follows the inspect and adapt cycle, as the people on the team are learning how to work best with one another during the process.
B. Pair programming is only possible in an open environment.
C. Self-organization is only possible in an open space environment.
D. With people involved, there will always be people issues. Open work spaces allow the Scrum Master to detect people issues and resolve them.
As items are developed and removed from the top of the Product Backlog, the Product Backlog iceberg develops a flat spot at the top and loses its shape.
What would be a necessary measure to counter this effect?
A. Creating a chart of the number of Product Backlog Items
B. Grooming the Product Backlog
C. Prioritizing the Product Backlog
D. Using an improvement Backlog
Your company wants to be highly responsive to bug reports or feature requests from your customers. For your customers it is more important to have confidence in the date by which you promise to have a fix than an occasional quick fix.
What part of Scrum allows you to have this predictability?
A. Agile planning
B. The Velocity of the Team
C. Working in strict timeboxes
The Product Owner informs the team that the release will be date-driven.
What kind of buffer for uncertainty is most important to use in this type of release?
A. Budget buffer
B. Feature buffer
C. Padding buffer
D. Schedule buffer
A Scrum Team has agreed on the following definition of Potentially Shippable:
Why is it important to include ‘tested’ in the definition of what is Potentially Shippable?
A. Increments are not ‘Done’ without testing for bugs.
B. Increments that have passed these tests will be sent out.
C. Testing shows how well the increments are integrated.
D. The increments must be tested to be cohesive
Which information Radiator can the team use best during the Sprint to track the work?
· Gantt chart
· Product Backlog
· Release Burn Up
· Task board
Kevin is a Product Owner for a retail organization. The Product Backlog for his immense marketing tool project has 200 Product Backlog Items.
Into what should he group the smaller Stories together?
· User Stories
What is one of the most difficult challenges you face when transitioning your software development team to Scrum?
· Introducing certain technical practices
· Team members may already have their hands
· Too rapid improvements are possible
Company X-AppGo is very interested in getting the benefits of both the ITIL® Framework and the Agile principles. They want to establish a disciplined service based approach, while reducing lead team in releasing application enhancements and improvements to their customer base.
Based on the above scenario, which would be the best processes to start integrating Agile into the ITIL® Framework?
· Service Design and Service Transition
· Service Strategy and Service Design
· Service Strategy and Service Operation
· Service Transition and Service Operation
During a Sprint Planning, a team has picked three User Stories:
-> Story 1 â€" 5 Story Points
-> Story 2 â€" 8 Story Points
-> Story 3 â€" 3 Story Points
At the end of the Sprint, the team has completed Story 1 and Story 3 and the Product Owner accepts these. The team has almost completed Story 2 but there are a few bugs identified in acceptance tests.
What is the Velocity of this team?
A. 8 points
B. 16 points
C. 12 points
D. Insufficient information given â€" it depends on % completion of Story 2
