How often would I need to renew a CompTIA certification? And, what are the continuing education requirements for maintaining the CompTIA certificate?

The requirements for renewal of your CompTIA certification will vary. For instance, with the CompTIA Cloud+ certifications you will need to renew once every three years.

Your certification will last for 3 years from the date certified.
Renewal can be done in two ways:
    - You can take the most current version of the certification exam for your credential (i.e., if you need to renew your CompTIA Network+ certification that was based on the 2009 objectives, you will take the CompTIA Network+ certification that is based on the most recent objectives).
    - You can earn continuing units (CEU's) by participating in qualified activities instead of taking the exam again.

I hope this could help you.
