It shows, code is still in process. If the code is executing then it won't give any output. If you executed a long code then it will take some time to process.

"*" means that Jupyter is processing that step and not yet finished.

I have created a linear regression model for 50_startup.csv. There I have handle the Categorical data also and deployed the model too.

Yes. If you allow some loop also which would take more time or indefinite time then it would so [*] as processing the code chunks.

Hello, I have worked on feature Selection technique for Advertising data.

WIth OLS, I am getting the best score with the below random_state

"Train score is 0.8645189403541677, test score is 0.9399137335788217 for iteration seeding 83"

    with RFE
"Train score is 0.2588542449821756, test score is 0.5596414433396051 for iteration seed 193"

    with SelectfromModel
"Train score is 0.2588542449821756, test score is 0.5596414433396051 for iteration seed 193"

    with ANOVA
"Train score is 0.5519777295895915, test score is 0.7802893721733294 for iteration seed 641"

Regarding the last assignment which was being done in class on Day 10, I am finding the cars dataset is performing very poorly with SVR but far better with LinearRegression. Is this expected? And if so, what would make SVR perform poorly on a dataset?

    Hi Prashant Sir,

    1. I am going through ML recordings. In session 6 - Minimizing Error Techniques. I have doubt while I was working on Melbourne DataSet. After performing OLS technique, p value was 0 in 1st iteration itself. But the correlation matrix was not matching with OLS. Correlation shows values above 0.05 are present in Car and BuildingArea. Then what is the use of OLS here. OLS didn't helped in this case. right? Is my understanding correct?
    2. In Boston Dataset OLS showed p values > 0.05 in x3 and x7 but @Sriram in class eliminated x10. Why? x10 was not >0.05 His accuracy was 100%. My accuracy after eliminating x3 and x7 was 73% train and 76% test. Am I doing somthing wrong here. Please correct me
