    i. When I am using nano to update the core-site.xml file , it says nano command not found . Although I was earlier able to use Vi editor , but not nano.

ii. When I start Ubuntu on VM , by default the black screen terminal opens only . How can I see or access the Desktop of Ubuntu ?

    HI Indranil,

You have to install Desktop version instead of server verison as server version only have terminal to work on.

I am not sure about nano command as why you are unable to access it. Please first install Desktop version and then let me know, so that we can sort this out.
