Some Facts about Agile Projects:

In agile projects we have a high-level plan, they are descriptions of features and functions which are in product backlog.

We build prototypes that we repeatedly review with stakeholders for feedback, and through this continuous feedback, we refine our high-level stuff into definitions of requirements, scope, duration, cost, risk and quality.

The objective is to start in the work with high-level estimates, and quickly refine into what is needed on the product.

That is why we talk about MVP(Minimum Viable Product) and MBI (Minimum Business Increment) in agile.

So therefore we say agile approach is iterative, change based, adaptive, incremental and so on.

Hi Vishal....i asked the question earlier....mentioning again...if it skipped you attention - from where we can get Agile Practice Guide

Do you mind giving an example how do you construct a WBS? For instance a construction project or any examples that can enhance my comprehension on WBS.

Hi Vishal, I can see three notes uploaded - 1) Exam content outline, 2) Relation between Domain, task and Enablers and 3) Predictive(Waterfall) vs. Agile. Approach. Are there other notes also uploaded which I am unable to see?

Hi Guys,

Few things for you to understand:

The PMBOK and the exam content outline are different documents as below:

The PMBOK is the framework in which projects are managed
the 6th edition looks at this from a processes standpoint
the 7th looks at this from a principle (values and behavior) standpoint

The exam content outline which are explained in the PMI material are the tasks a PM performs within that framework.

The PMBOK is a bigger picture of the framework, and the exam content outline is based on PMI abstract material from PMBOK and other sources.

The exam is structured based on the slide material.

Use this as your primary reference, and then go into the PMBOK for your framework details.

Hope that helps.

I don't know if you covered this in the earlier sessions when you were drilling facts about the exam. I am wondering if you said we could skip questions on the test and come back to them. I don't want to wait until I review the recordings to answer this. It will dictate how and what a drill more than other course material.

Thanks in advance!

I was thinking of finishing my application and studying toward whatever date they give me for the exam if I get one. Is that feasible or should I study a certain amount before applying?

You can do the application and after approval you can study and schedule exam when you think you are prepared enough to take the exam, also try 3 to 4 Mock tests and see if you are scoring well.
