Hi
sir in jupyter lab I assigned x as 1.0
so it was showing me its type as tuple

@Priyesh - Please paste the code you used to assign.
If you assign the value as 1.0, it will be float only. Please see the below examples and try.

x1=1.0 #Float
x2=(1.0) #Float
x3=[1.0] #List
x4=1.0, #Tuple
x5=(1.0,) #Tuple

Hi Vigneshwar,

In Non Linear regression, after changing the value of X to X_poly, and using X_poly values in model as fit i.e. (X_poly,y).

what is the purpose of this statement
plt.scatter(X,y)
plt.plot(X,lin2.predict(X_poly),color='red')

why we are ploting X and predicted values of X_poly instead of we were trying to fit the model between X_poly and Y.

Where is y lost in this?

Please suggest.

Need one clarification , when i am downloading the dataset, (.Dat files) , i am able to import those however the headings are not available , so do i have to pass on Headings in each dataset according to my understanding.

If yes , then shall i pass the heading as per myself or the headings are given somewhere.

Hi Vigneshwar,

In the Movielense project, I tried to convert the dat file to csv file and read the csv files using pandas.
I am getting the below error.

ParserError: Error tokenizing data. C error: Expected 1 fields in line 11, saw 2

I am doing something wrong with the data or the data have some wrong fields?

Thank you.

Hi Sparsh Kumar_1,

You can find the column information for each data set from the LMS assessment tab. And based on this at the time of reading the dataset pass the column names.
