Q: During the execution of a construction project, excavation activities unearth some artifacts that seem to have some archaeological importance. What should the project manager do?

A:Stop excavation work and call up the archaeological department to quickly research the findings

Question is ambiguous as it makes it sound that all companies have a archaeology department, which they don't, and logically then eliminates this option.

    SELECT THE CORRECT ANSWER

Ignore the findings and continue work as scheduled

Inform senior management and continue work as scheduled

Stop excavation work and call up the archaeological department to quickly research the findings

    Raise a change request

During the project execution such type of observation is found out one should inform immediately to the concerned department. If you continue the execution without notifying it can go against Enterprise Environmental Factors and also it is against professional and social responsibility. Here archaeological department means it need not be internal it can be external too.

Option A is rules out, Option b and d can be done later.
