Deepanshu, please provide feedback form URL here. I left session. Thanks, Praveen
Thanks for the today's session.
I just read that the TOGAF certification is valid only for 2 years, however you mentioned in class that it wont expired. Please clarify. Thanks!
Please find attached the Conformance Requirements document.
I did enrolled for Togaf last year for version9.1 and also collected my exam voucher as well. Which is about to expire in the month of April 2019.
Now if I apply for certification will it be for version 9.1or 9.2
Myra said we just have to take the bridge certification. I am not sure if we have a separate certification just to bridge the gap or we have to take the certification again on the new version.
Amol, It seems you misread this information. 24 months is applicable for TOGAF 7 and 8. Please see below the information i extracted from the website.
How long does Certification Last?
TOGAF 7 and 8 certification for individuals lasts for up to 24 months. TOGAF 9 certification for individuals has no renewal. In some cases, for classes of certification dependent on an annual Commercial TOGAF license then the initial certification will be synchronized with the license renewal date.
Below is the homework for this week

Go through N180 Page 11 and read all artifacts

what is the diff between architecure principles and business principles?
one basic question: In agile we can see business value ,agile is mostly driven by value to the customer ,however in togaf it is not the case rite? I don't see 'value' mentioned in none of the phases until phaseD.
Architecture principles are typically developed by the LeadArchitect, in conjunction with the enterprise CIO, ArchitectureBoard, and other key business stakeholders. ... Architecture principles will be informed by overall IT principles and principlesat the enterprise level, if they exist.
Where in Business Principles you make those principles for your enterprise
We did discuss about the benefits of Enterprise Architecture when we discussed about framework
» A more efficient business operation » A more efficient IT operation » Better return on existing investment, » Reduced risk for future investment » Faster, simpler, and cheaper procurement
Every framework will provide business value in different forms and TOGAF provides what i have mentioned above.
As discussed, Please download the templates and revise the artifcats chart i gave as a homework. The link is given below
